Wedding reception. Casual attire is a must?
Chris P asked:
As my invitation reads, “Casual attire is a must!” for the wedding reception I am going to this coming weekend. So.. ladies, what would you expect your husband / boyfriend to wear? I am thinking the dockers, button down shirt, and/or blue blazer. Predicted weather is 78/47. Looking forward to your suggestions. Thx! Chris

You are right on target! You can always take off the blazer if no one else is wearing one.
Do wear polished shoes.

I would think that because it says casual attire I would think he could wear jeans and a nice shirt (I would make sure it is more dressy). If he normally wears dockers that would be fine, but I would leave the blazer off until he gets cold and would need a jacket. Basically I would suggest that he would wear whatever he would normally wear to a dinner out with friends.

Not knowing the people I would ditch the jacket, keeping it in the car in case the weather is on the low side. A short sleeve shirt and dockers or even a polo and dockers
