I am attending an outdoor wedding this weekend (5pm) and don’t have a suit that fits. What else can I wear?
Doooo asked:
I have grey and other dark colored pants, brown/black shoes, and various colored shirts.

Can I get away with a tie, shirt, and pants? Which colors would look best with greyish pants??

Yes you can rock slacks, shirt, and tie to a wedding you are not the one getting married, as long as you look nice and smell good! You can never go wrong with white. Also a pink shirt would look nice with grey pants, if you are a guy who is in to the whole pink thing. Also a black shirt would look nice. Have a nice time and good luck on you outfit!!

Ok, first let me say that Yes, the people answering DO need to know what time the wedding is. Because, if it were earlier in the day, you would wear something completely different.
I’m not sure where you live, but in a lot of places, five PM can be the hottest hour of the day. So, I would suggest that you go with something a little bit lighter than a black shirt if you’re going to be sitting outside for at least an hour.
My advice would be to wear the grey slacks with a sage green or a pink button down, and if you have it, a sports coat, with no tie. Put a matching kerchief in the pocket of the coat, and you’re all set.
But for god’s sake, please dont wear brown shoes with a black belt. (Actually, if you’re going to wear the grey slacks, dont wear brown shoes at all.
