Hotel Dusk Hide your stuff from Dunning Smith? HELP?

I’m at the part in hotel dusk where you run into Iris on the stairs.Saying mr.smith has searched her belongs ect.. then you have to hide stuff you have on you so you dont get into trouble. Well i have hide everythink i can think of in my suitcase and mr smith still keeps getting me on something and making me leave the hotel.. the only iteams i have on my person are Broken Suit Case Key, Pager, Room 215 key, Hotel Brouchure,Order sheet, Mens Mag, Crowbar,Pliers,Screwdriver,Cash (thirty Bucks) , Bradleys Lighter,Old Photo and summer’s signed novel….

SO what have i got to hide and where have i got to hide it , iv’e hide/put everythink eles in my suitcase?

You need to put the crowbar, pliers and screwdriver back in the tool box in the laundry room.
