Yes. One of his first personas in the WWF was the Blue Blazer. And the reason why people were saying the Blue Blazer died is because when he died, they were doing a storyline about the Blue Blazer comming back. Owen was dressing up as the Blue Blazer costume and comming down from the rafters like he did back in the day. Thats why Owen was comming down from the rafters in the match that he died in.

i highly doubt thats the only thing you dont know. maybe owen is called that cuz that was one of his ring names. you know like “King Edge the awesome”? or “KING BOKCHAH”!! (spit flies on your face) Or like when Undertaker was called “The american badass”. i guess its cuz that was one of his gimmix. pretty much!

after leaving njpw and returning to north america, owen hart signed with the wwf and wrestled under a mask as the blue blazer to protect his identity which was back in 1989 i believe

well blue blazer was this guy that owen hart was pretending to be and no one knew it was him. he was going to tell everyone that he was the blue blazer that night at over the edge but then he fell over the edge

Yes Owen was the Blue Blazer and he hated the gimmick. He used it at the beginning of his WWF career and was basically made to do it again as punishment for not going along with an Owen storyline where he was to have an on screen fling with one of the Diva’s. He did not want to do it because of his wife. The Blue Blazer was a super hero character who could never get anything right, that was the gimmick and very ironic that he died from a mistake as the bumbling super hero. This is one reason Bret said Owen would not have died if he had stayed in the WWF, Bret believes he could have talked Vince out of the super hero gimmick.

the blue blazer was a wreslter then owen was the blue blazor its like a tradition and he was going to enter in a zip line but from the roof he came falling and had a major impact and died
