If it’s a clothing store interview, you want to try and get clothes that make your body look great:
If you’re tall, play up the make-up but stay extremely cool to make it seem like you know that tall people are used for high fashion in some of the stupidest ways, but since it’s A&F I would definitely bring their clothes in the mix because, hey, they’re cool. Go for a summery look, don’t mess with the hair too much.

If you’re medium-high, you definitely need to wear something dark, preferably black because people this height are usually ignored when it comes to production because the question with clothing is “is this for tall or short and what season?” So when you think you’ve been losing weight left and right and you’re not showing it, it’s the clothes, but black always makes a person look slimmer, no matter if you weigh 70 or 170. Curled hair and average amount makeup is good. Bell bottoms are great for this size because it makes you look great and you can get away with shorter legs because you’re not a tree.

Kinda short, colors colors colors! People this height are proven to have the most personality and show that, but still stay cool. Make yourself sound like Tyson Ritter :D cept a girl, of course. and do something good with your hair, but NOT straight and weighed down. Try volume! Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT go overboard with the makeup. Really, just some lip gloss here, blush there, and NO mascara.

Pretty freakin short, V-Neck is a great way to go because it elongates your neck and it makes you appear taller. Wedges are a great way to go, too. Also stay away from pants like bell bottoms because they make legs look shorter and you do not need that. Boot cut is best.

For any size person, you can’t overdo one thing. You should not have a flowy top and bottom. You can have a nice white flowy top and a pencil skirt; and vice-versa. The reason you should do this according to height is because not only does it make you look better, but it shows you know how to accentuate best features, which is great and gets more sales.
Some good tips for hair and makeup are:
-If you have bangs or short hair, wear some mascara, and if it’s necessary, eyeliner.

While doing the interview, you can stand out by making jokes, don’t be afraid to be charming, get out there and have to do something to make you look stupid if they ask you to; no is not a choice. Act cool, you have to let the interviewer know you’ve got a great personality, you can relax, you’re stylish, but on the inside you’ve got some dork in you :P

    Good Luck!

i wouldn’t wear a blazer, wear the jeans and the flats, and then wear an abercrombie t (a cute one, like one of their woven camis, not just something plain) and one of their cardigans or hoodies. as for what they’ll ask, they’ll want to know about your previous retail experience, what days you’re available, and of course “so why do you want to work at abercrombie” tell them you love their clothes, and that you’re a “team player” and a people person, that you love talking to customers and helping them pick things out. . they eat that shit up. . good luck!
